Building Specifications & Features

This pole barn was designed and built to support real-world use, from truck access and equipment storage to office operations.

Doors & Access
  • (2) 14′ × 14′ insulated overhead garage doors with openers

  • (1) 10′ × 12′ insulated overhead garage door (no opener)

Multiple access points allow for smooth workflow, safe entry, and flexibility for both equipment and personnel.

  • (10) 4′ × 3′ windows

Strategically placed windows bring natural light into the shop, helping reduce reliance on artificial lighting and creating a brighter, more comfortable space.

Concrete Work
  • 60′ × 80′ × 6″ concrete slab

    30′ × 60′ × 6″ concrete apron in front of the building

The concrete package was designed to handle trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment, with added durability at entry and exit points to minimize long-term wear.

Interior Layout & Finish
  • 15′ × 24′ framed office

  • Office framed inside the shop to separate administrative space from work areas

  • Metal installed on the shop side of the office walls

  • Full interior metal liner on walls and ceiling

Interior metal creates a clean, durable finish that’s easy to maintain and well-suited for long-term use.

Insulation
  • 3″ closed-cell spray foam insulation applied to:

    • Roof

    • Walls

    • Ceiling

Spray foam insulation helps regulate temperature, reduce air movement, and protect the structure — an ideal solution for Colorado’s changing climate.

Exterior Color Package
  • Roof: Fern Green

  • Sidewalls: Light Stone

  • Trim: Fern Green

  • Interior Metal: White

This color combination fits the rural Penrose landscape while giving the building a sharp, professional appearance.
